School bus drivers are the most valuable players on the Niagara school bus team! Each school day, Niagara school bus drivers travel thousands of kilometres and make thousands of bus stops to deliver over 35,000 students to and from school safely, on time and ready to learn.
There are many rewards that come with driving a school bus. For parents and grandparents wanting weekends, PA Days and summers off that match your child's school days off, becoming a school bus driver gives you this opportunity. For those wanting extra hours during the school day, evenings, weekends or in the summer, there are opportunities to perform charter work outside of home-to-school transportation times.
If you enjoy working with children, this could be the perfect, secure, part-time job for you! Many of our current bus drivers are stay at home parents and grandparents, retirees wanting part-time, meaningful work and those who have existing flexible careers with availability to work split shifts mornings and afternoons.
