2012-13 School Year new

Niagara Student Transportation Services (NSTS) is preparing for the 2012-13 school year. Please review the following information.

Specific Transportation Details

2012-13 back to school student transportation arrangements specific to your child will be available through the NSTS website on August 20, 2012. You will need your child's Ontario Education Number (OEN) to log-in to our secure parent portal.

Eligibility for Service

bus To determine if your child is eligible for service you may log-in to our secure parent portal. If your child is eligible for service, the transportation information will be displayed. If your child is not eligible for service the walking path information that was used to calculate eligibility will be displayed.

Moving or Changing Daycares

To ensure NSTS plans transportation for your child correctly, please make sure you update pick-up and drop-off address information with your school prior to the end of the current school year. If you are moving and want to know if your new address is eligible for service, please use our Eligibility tool by entering the address, school and grade of your child.

During the summer you may notify NSTS of address changes so we can make sure a bus stop is available for your child to start the school year, however, NSTS is not authorized to change student address information.

First Rider Programs

On August 24-25, 2012 First Student Canada is holding a First Rider Program at the Pen Centre, St. Catharines. Call to reserve your spot 905 688-9600. This program may also be offered through your school sometime before school starts or in early September. Ask your school for details.
